Survey on Citizens' Preferences of Urban Interventions

Author: Maria Inês Duarte Lopes

Supervisors: Dr. Gabriel Valença & Prof. Filipe Moura

Welcome!

This survey aims to assess the preferences of citizens regarding urban interventions. Participation in the survey is completely anonymous and voluntary. You may exit the survey at any time, and your responses will NOT be stored.

We recommend filling out this survey on a computer.

The survey is composed of two parts:

  1. Eight pairwise image comparisons showing places before and after urban interventions using interactive panoramic Google Street View images;
  2. One group of questions about your socio-demographics and travel behavior.

The collected responses will be processed and used in the context of Maria Lopes' master's thesis in Engineering and Innovation and Entrepreneurship Management, developed at Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon. This work is part of the Streets4All Project, funded by the Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia.

This survey complies with Google's Geo Guidelines, aligning with the terms of service for using their proprietary street view imagery.
