Sofia Kalakou

PhD Researcher

Sophia Kalakou is an Assistant Professor of Operations Management in the Department of Marketing, Operations and General Management at ISCTE-Business School. She is a member of Business Research Unit (BRU) at ISCTE and the Research Group of “Transport Systems” of CERIS at IST. Her research expertise is airport and general aviation planning and management. Currently she is working on topics of (air and urban) passenger behavioural modelling, analysis of gender issues in transport, the design and assessment of aviation systems and services, the assessment of the impact of new technologies on urban mobility and the implementation of sustainability in urban mobility.
