Angélica Magrini Rigo graduated in Architecture and Urban Planning in 2012 from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (Porto Alegre/Brazil) and obtained a master’s degree in Urban Planning and Territorial Management from Instituto Superior Técnico – ULisboa (Lisbon/Portugal) in 2018. Since 2008, she has been working in the urban planning and design fields.
She is committed to urban accessibility and mobility, especially the active modes. Her academic research comprehends the conditions of the urban environment that promote the pedestrian mode. Along with her studies, she mastered some methods and tools, from which some can be highlighted, such as GIS analysis and Space Syntax. Regarding accessibility, she also investigates issues related to the use and management of public spaces.
