MSc Student
Miguel Diogo has graduated in Geography and Regional Planning at NOVA University of Lisbon (UNL) and is now a final-year master’s student in Transport System at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST).
He is interested in urban mobility and accessibility, sustainable urban planning, road safety, and travel behaviour. His initial passion for demography, human, and cultural geography led him to pursue studies in transportation systems.
He is currently developing a thesis focused on satisfaction and reliability in children’s school mobility using public transport. The goal is to understand the barriers to wider use of public school transport services and to explore the public’s perception of these services.
He leads an active lifestyle, enjoying cycling, playing football, and exploring the beautiful landscapes of Portugal. During the summer, he also works at a children’s holiday camp, sharing his enthusiasm for nature and outdoor activities.
